Waterloo, IA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred early Thursday morning.
Waterloo Police Department officers responded to a shooting call approximately at 4 a.m.
The shooting happened near West 1st Street and West Wellington Street, but the victim was found near the intersection of University Avenue and Sergeant Road, near Highway 218.
The victim is now at the hospital. Police do not know his condition at this time.
