Davenport, IA – According to the police report, this unfortunate incident occurred at their Iowa City apartment over issues with his family.
The 31-year-old Diane Glenn and her fiancé have been together for about a year. The man told officers that the two got into a verbal argument over Glenn’s accusation that his family doesn’t like her.
During their conversation, he tried to call his sister, at which time Glenn allegedly tried to get the phone away from him.
Glenn is accused of biting and scratching at him to try to get the phone away from him. Officers observed the man had redness in the shape of a bite mark.
Glenn was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault causing Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail if convicted.
