Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 4 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened in the 1500 block of North Division Street.
Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
Investigators say the 27-year-old suspect was at the home of the alleged victim and stole a firearm valued around $540.
The suspect allegedly fired two rounds into the air and left on foot.
His name is Danny Darnell Woodcox and he was quickly arrested.
The 27-year-old suspect is charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, a Class D felony punishable by five years in prison; one count of interference with official acts, a Class D felony; one count of fourth-degree theft, a serious misdemeanor; and one count of reckless use of a firearm, a simple misdemeanor.
No one was injured in this incident.
