Davenport, IOWA – According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, his name is Joshua Guinn and he faces felony charges including two controlled-substance violations, a felony charge of child endangerment – bodily injury, gathering where controlled substances are used and a serious misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance – marijuana.
Scott County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search warrant in the 4900 block of Ruben Drive on Feb. 3. The 31-year-old suspect was at the residence.
According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found 165 grams of methamphetamine; 25 doses of LSD; 5 grams of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia (marijuana pipes, bongs, and pipes used for smoking meth).
The 31-year-old man told deputies that he used meth and marijuana regularly and also allowed friends to come to the home to use meth and marijuana.
Authorities say that his 5-year-old son lives in the residence. The 31-year-old man is held on $25,000 bond in Scott County Jail.
