Fort Madison, IOWA – According to the Fort Madison Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened in the 600 block of 6th Street.
Police say the 21-year-old victim was stabbed in an upstairs hallway.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead.
He was later identified as Antwan Lawrence Brewster.
The suspect who assaulted him left on foot, police say.
This incident remains under investigation.
