Muscatine, IOWA – According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, her name is Joanna Lynn Davis and she was arrested and taken into custody on Nov. 4.
The 37-year-old woman has been charged with controlled substance violation.
Davis made an initial appearance in Muscatine County Court on Friday.
Prosecutors say the 37-year-old woman could serve up to 25 years in prison.
On March 30, Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Ford Explorer in the 2700 block of 120th Street NE in Swisher.
The responding deputies executed a search warrant on the vehicle and found 2,295 grams of suspected cocaine, plastic packaging material, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale.
According to the DCI lab results, the substance tested positive for cocaine.
