Marion County, IOWA – According to the Knoxville Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 10 a.m. Monday.
It happened at 110 W. Main Street.
Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a report of a stabbing.
The responding officers found one male victim.
Police said the victim told them that he was stabbed by 56-year-old Toni Renee Baker.
The victim was taken to a hospital of treatment.
The extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown at this time.
The responding officers were able to locate the 56-year-old suspect at 102 E. Robinson Street.
During an interview with investigators, the woman reportedly told them that she stabbed the man during a verbal argument.
She is now charged with willful injury, police officials said.
This incident remains under investigation.
