Des Moines, IOWA – Police officials said that both suspects were arrested and taken into custody on Monday.
Luk Dak, 19, and Augustino Mneur, 20, were reportedly arrested in connection to a series of recent bank robberies.
Both suspects are now charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony.
Both suspects are being held at the Polk County Jail.
According to the Des Moines Police Department, three banks were robbed between Jan. 26 and Feb. 12.
The banks were located on University Avenue, Ingersoll Ave and 7th Street.
Police officials said that in each incident, the suspect reportedly indicated that he had a gun.
