Bettendorf, IOWA – According to the Bettendorf Police Department, the 40-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday.
His name is Shaun Powell and he faces multiple charges, including: controlled-substance violation, failure to affix a drug stamp and control of a firearm by a felon.
The 40-year-old suspect was arrested following traffic stop.
The responding officer reportedly found 10 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale and a gun.
Powell reportedly admitted he traded a heater for a gun on Facebook Marketplace.
Police officials said that a search of the suspect’s cell phone showed messages indicating he sells methamphetamine.
