Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
It happened at 1712 Spring Street.
Davenport Police Department officers and Davenport Fire Department Arson Investigators responded to a report of a pipe bomb that had been detonated inside of a boat, police said.
Through a joint investigation, 46-years-old suspect, later identified as Jon Kucharo, was taken into custody in the 1600 block of West 12th Street.
He is now charged with Arson 2nd Degree and four counts of Possession of an Incendiary Device.
No other information is available at the moment.
