Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
It happened in the southbound lane of 1000 N Marquette St. in Davenport.
The man was was riding a skateboard when he was hit by a vehicle.
Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The driver fled the scene.
