Arrest made in connection to Oct. 12 shots fired incident in Davenport

Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, his name is Brett Bonjour and he faces felony charges of going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

The 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday.

On Oct. 12, Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

This incident occurred in the 1800 block of Kirkwood Boulevard.

The responding officers say the 27-year-old suspect arrived at the location and he and other subjects got into a verbal and physical argument.

The suspect to be removed from the property. He then fired five shots from a handgun from the vehicle.

Police say the gunshots struck a building in the area and two unoccupied vehicles in a driveway.

He then fled the scene.

No one was injured in this incident.

Bonjour is being held in Scott County Jail.
