Davenport, IOWA – According to the statement, people who can’t get vaccinated for medical reasons or religious beliefs must apply for an exemption. The health officials have reported that more than 100 hospitals and health systems in the U.S. are requiring their employees to get vaccinated. MercyOne is encouraging everyone who is eligible and able to get vaccinated. Bob Ritz, MercyOne CEO, said: “As a faith-based health ministry, we have pledged to protect the most vulnerable. Our patients and their families expect us to provide a safe environment for their care, and that includes being vaccinated.”

According to the police officials, the boy was shot and killed after drive-by shooting. Authorities say this unfortunate incident occurred during a drive-by shooting on the boy’s home. The 9-year-old body was later identified as Nigel Brown. His mother found him in his bed after a vehicle drove by their house in Georgia and opened fire. Police say few people were in the house when the shooting happened. Please call the APD at 229-431-2100 if you have any information about this incident.  This incident is still under investigation. According to his family, the 12-year-old boy was only repeating what he saw and heard in a video game. Repeating phrases is a diagnosed symptom of his disorder, also known as scripting. His mother said that the proper protocols for students with disabilities were not followed prior to charges being filed. Waterloo – According to the court documents, his name is Charles Antony Ware and he was sentenced to more than seven years in prison. The 47-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge in March. Police say the shooting occurred in the Waterloo liquor store’s parking lot back in September 2020. Charles Antony Ware and another man argued and then exchanged gunfire. Ware has a long criminal history, with 30 convictions, six convictions for violent assaults on women and violent misconduct during past prison terms.

Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Dustin Paught and was arrested on a warrant. The 35-year-old man was booked into Scott County Jail after his pretrial release was revoked. He is being held on at $15,000 cash-only bond. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on May 5. It happened in the 300 block of Gaines Street in Davenport. DPD officers responded to a report of individuals breaking windows of businesses and throwing objects at vehicles. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Jasper Tillotson and he is being held on bond in Scott County Jail. DPD officers executed a search warrant in the 1500 block of Ripley Street. During the investigation, police found a  three glass pipes, a digital scale with cocaine residue and metal spoons with cocaine residue. The 59-year-old man admitted he smokes crack cocaine and that various people come to the residence to smoke crack cocaine together. Both suspects are charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a 32-year-old woman. The 32-year-old woman is a Texas resident and she vanished last October. Authorities in Missouri were led to her body in mid-July by two witnesses. Authorities say that one of the witnesses was a 13-year-old girl the couple allegedly abused sexually. That child told police that both suspects, Michael Hendricks and Maggie Ybarra, confessed to her that they murdered Aubry.
