According to the police officials, the 40-year-old man was arrested when he tried crossing back into the U.S. Law enforcement authorities responded to a 911 call right before 8 a.m. Monday and found the two children. Linn County, IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is Jonathan Soucie and he faces multiple charges: attempting to elude, reckless driving, hit and run, and driving while suspended. This unfortunate incident occurred right after 11 a.m. Tuesday. The 42-year-old man passed the deputy, going more than 100 miles per hour, prompting a pursuit. The chase ended in the 2400 block of Pleasant View Drive. The suspect hit mail boxes, rock landscaping and came to a stop. He suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital. IOWA – According to the city officials, when people go into buildings belonging to the city, they need to wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status. The city officials have announced the new mask mandate on Tuesday and it takes effect on Wednesday, August 11th. The officials have reported that the new requirement aligns with guidance for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The face mask requirement will remain in effect until further notice. Davenport, IOWA – According to the statement, people who can’t get vaccinated for medical reasons or religious beliefs must apply for an exemption. The health officials have reported that more than 100 hospitals and health systems in the U.S. are requiring their employees to get vaccinated. MercyOne is encouraging everyone who is eligible and able to get vaccinated. Bob Ritz, MercyOne CEO, said: “As a faith-based health ministry, we have pledged to protect the most vulnerable. Our patients and their families expect us to provide a safe environment for their care, and that includes being vaccinated.”

According to the police officials, the boy was shot and killed after drive-by shooting. Authorities say this unfortunate incident occurred during a drive-by shooting on the boy’s home. The 9-year-old body was later identified as Nigel Brown. His mother found him in his bed after a vehicle drove by their house in Georgia and opened fire. The New York subway can be busy and stressful at the best of times, but for those people who have mobility issues it can also be dangerous. One man using a wheelchair fell onto the subway tracks at Union Square subway station just as a train was approaching. Thankfully, there were people nearby who witnessed his cries for help and one man didn’t hesitate to jump beside him and lift him off the tracks. According to his family, the 12-year-old boy was only repeating what he saw and heard in a video game. Repeating phrases is a diagnosed symptom of his disorder, also known as scripting. His mother said that the proper protocols for students with disabilities were not followed prior to charges being filed. Waterloo – According to the court documents, his name is Charles Antony Ware and he was sentenced to more than seven years in prison. The 47-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge in March. Police say the shooting occurred in the Waterloo liquor store’s parking lot back in September 2020. Charles Antony Ware and another man argued and then exchanged gunfire. Ware has a long criminal history, with 30 convictions, six convictions for violent assaults on women and violent misconduct during past prison terms.
