IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is Michael Constant and he is now charged with animal abuse. This unfortunate incident occurred June 30th during a fight between Constant and his girlfriend. The suspect said that he had lost his temper and threw the 5-pound dog into a wall in the hallway of their apartment in Cedar Rapids. When the officers found the dog, it had a difficult time standing and it was disoriented. This story will be updated when new information is available.

Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, his name is Stephen Wayne Toliver and he was sentenced after pleading guilty to witness tampering. Stephen Wayne Toliver was sentenced to 12 years in prison. The 35-year-old man admits he hit a woman with a gun so hard she was knocked unconscious. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Zachariah Arrington and he is charged with 1st Degree Arson in connection with the incident. About the incident – it occurred May 27th in the 1600 block of W 17th Street. Davenport Fire Department crews responded around 11:00 p.m. The porch sustained smoke and fire damage. According to the statement, no injuries were reported. Authorities say the fire was intentionally set. This story will be updated when new information is available.

Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, his name is Henry Dinkins and he appeared on video court in Scott County on Friday, July 2.   The man was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping in connection to the death of a 10-year-old girl.  Dinkins pleaded not guilty to the crimes. Breasia was reported missing in July of 2020. Her remains were found several months later in Clinton County.  The suspect is being held in the Clinton County Jail. Waiving his right to a speedy trial means he won’t go on trial until early 2022.

IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Todd Adams and he was convicted in late May of five counts of second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of indecent contact with a child.   The children were each under the age of 12. The 54-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.  He had previously been convicted of second-degree sexual abuse that happened in 1995, also involving a child younger than 12.  According to the court documents, the case was first reported in 2019.
