Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon near 41st Street and 12th Avenue. The officer was traveling southbound in the 1100 block of 34th Street when the squad car struck the victim on a bicycle just south of 11th Avenue. The child was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The Moline Police Department will conduct a separate Internal Affairs investigation to review policies, procedures and actions of the department personnel. A distraught mother from Texas says that employees at a local daycare center are responsible for breaking her baby’s arm. The mother alleges that her 3-month-old girl was left seriously injured while in their care. As per reports, Jenkins is said to have dropped her daughter off at the Children Lighthouse Daycare for the first time on April 2. The mom was returning to her job as a 2nd grade teacher after time off for maternity leave. A 14-year-old boy has been held in the murder of a six-year-old child from northern Indiana. The boy, who remains unidentified, strangled the little girl to death and claimed that he was controlled by a “shadowy man” who instructed him to kill the girl. He has been accused of child molestation and murder of the little girl. The girl was reported as missing in New Carlisle and her body was later found in the wooded area near Chapman Drive. Iowa Department of Public Health said that the decrease in demand is being seen in several other states. IOWA – According to the police officials, Joseph and Marlana Richardson are facing multiple charges related to the incident which was first reported to police in January 2021. Marlena is charged with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child, a Class A misdemeanor. Joseph is being held in Rock Island County Jail on a felony charge for Harassment of a Witness and a misdemeanor charge of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.  The case is still under investigation. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Sylvis Brandon Nelson and he was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. According to the police officials, Nelson beat and strangled 34-year-old Cobrianda Anderson, who was found dead in her home by emergency responders on March 24. Nelson told authorities Anderson had suffered an asthma attack and died. But an autopsy confirmed her cause of death was strangulation and blunt-force head injuries. The 35-year-old man is being held without bond in the Scott County Jail.

Davenport, IA – According to the statement, his name is Trai Terrell Anderson and he pleaded guilty in March to attempted murder, a Class B felony, and going armed with intent, a Class D felony. On Jan. 29, 2020, officers responded to a disturbance call at the Relax Inn on North Brady Street. When the officers arrived on scene there, they found the victim inside the hotel, suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa Department of Public Health reported no additional COVID-19 deaths. According to the Iowa DPH vaccination dashboard, 2,309,070 total COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Iowa. The dashboard reports that 952,859 individuals completed two-dose vaccinations and 88,603 individuals have completed single-dose vaccinations.
