Davenport, IA – His name is David Michael Woods, 48-year-old. According to the officials, he allegedly committed sexual abuse against a 12-year-old. The abuse reportedly happened multiple times between November 2020 and January 2021. The suspect was booked into the Scott County Jail at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday. The 48-year-old man was released at 6:26 p.m. after posting a $50,000 cash-only bond. Third-degree sexual abuse is a Class C felony under Iowa law that carries a prison sentence of 10 years.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Davenport, IA – Davenport Police Department officers responded to a call at the PR Masonry Apartments in Davenport. When they arrived at the scene, the officers found the body of 77-year-old Dianna Rupp inside one of the units. The police officials have not said how she died. Police on the scene arrested Rupp’s son, 53-year-old Andrew Rupp. According to the police report, he was initially charged with interference of official acts and drug possession. He was later charged with first-degree murder.
