DAVENPORT – In a letter to parents and guardians, the Davenport Community School District announced it will return to hybrid learning starting Monday, Dec. 14. “It was always our district’s intent to return to the Hybrid Learning Model at the earliest possible date,” Interim Superintendent TJ Schneckloth said in the letter. DAVENPORT, IOWA – Davenport police were in the area of LeClaire and 11th and 12th streets, where a multi-vehicle accident happened about 4 p.m. Saturday. Police talked with neighbors, one of whom was visibly upset. Three vehicles apparently sustained damage in the crash, where Local 4 News was the only station at the scene. A car parked on the street sustained major damage to its back portion. We do not know whether anyone was injured or ticketed.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Police say a man has died after a crash involving a car and motorized bicycle in Davenport. At approximately 10:09 p.m. on Monday, Davenport police, Davenport Fire and Medic EMS responded to the 600 block of East 15th Street in reference to the head on crash. Preliminary information determined the car was traveling west bound on 15th Street when it was struck by a motorized bicycle traveling against traffic, the wrong way on the one way street.
