Muscatine, IOWA – According to the city officials, all children are invited to bring their baskets, and their parents, to the Hunt that will be held on from 10-11:00 a.m. on April 9 in the upper loop of Weed Park. City officials said that families attending the event may gather near the Rose Garden playground in the Upper Loop of Weed Park prior to the official start time. Des Moines, IOWA – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred right before midnight late Sunday night. It happened on Ingersoll Ave. Des Moines Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim. Police said the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released. Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, all three suspects were charged on Wednesday. Police officials said that all three suspects, 20-year-old Javon Combs, 18-year-old Chrystian Smith and 18-year-old John Hanes, are now charged with first-degree murder in shooting death of 14-year-old Jamon Winfrey. The fatal shooting occurred on Feb. 25, 2021, prosecutors said. It happened on Farnam Street. The responding officers reportedly found cartridge cases, but no injuries or damage in their initial report. Authorities reportedly discovered the victim ‘s body the next day.

Muscatine, IOWA – According to the city officials, the offer does not apply to non-neutered pets. City officials have announced that all dogs and cats six six months of age or older are required to be registered with the City of Muscatine. A pet license runs concurrently with the pet’s rabies vaccination. The pet license is required to be renewed annually with each yearly rabies vaccination. Clinton County, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, the fatal accident occurred around 4:51 p.m. Wednesday. It happened on Highway 136. Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash. The responding troopers discovered that a vehicle headed west on Highway 136 collided head-on with a minivan headed east on the same highway. The responding troopers said that the drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the minivan also died. The 22-year-old woman lured the male victim, whom she met on social media, to her home  where she and three other men proceeded to torture the man and hold him hostage, while demanding the victim’s family pay a $100,000 ransom for his release. The unsuspecting 24-year-old man was tied up and burned while his kidnappers forced him to call his family to come up with $100,000 in ransom money to secure his release.
