Des Moines, IOWA – According to the police officials, the 20-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday. His name is Raevon Teel and he is now charged with two counts of aggravated animal neglect. According to reports, two dogs were reportedly found locked inside their kennels inside an abandoned apartment with no food or water. Officials said that the dogs would have died within hours if they have not been rescued. Davenport, IOWA – Davenport Police Department officials said the 23-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Monday. His name is Demetrius Howard Jr. and he is now charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors said the suspect reportedly shot the 25-year-old victim after a fight. The victim was later identified as Corey Martin. This unfortunate incident occurred on N. Pine Street. Washington County, IOWA – According to the Washington County Ambulance, this unfortunate accident occurred around 3:22 a.m. early Sunday morning. It happened near 285th Street and Palm Avenue. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash. The first responders say they had to free some of the occupants of the vehicle. Polk County, IOWA – According to the police officials, this incident occurred right before 11 p.m. late Saturday night. It happened on SW Prairie Trail Pkwy. Ankeny Police Department officers responded to a report of a large fight. Moments later, the dispatch advised they were getting reports of multiple shots fired at the location. Bettendorf, IOWA – Police officials said the fatal accident occurred right after 6 a.m. Saturday morning. It happened on I-74. Bettendorf Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers discovered that the vehicle was traveling North on I-74, when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and entered a ditch. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identities have not yet been released. This incident remains under investigation. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
