Linn County, IOWA – According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 4 p.m. Saturday. It happened on Linn Benton Road. Linn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The responding deputies discovered that bicyclist collided with Ford Escape. Dubuque County, IOWA – According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, this incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Monday. It happened in the 17000 block of Holy Cross Rd. Holy Cross Fire crews, Farley Fire crews, New Vienna Fire crews and Epworth Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire. The responding crews discovered a farm building engulfed by flames. Muscatine County, IOWA – According to the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 8 p.m. Sunday. It happened in the 1400 block of Moscow Road. Muscatine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The responding deputies say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and the passenger was still trapped in the vehicle. The 29-year-old man now faces a felony charge of eluding; operating while under the influence and possession of controlled substance – marijuana, court records say. According to reports, a 4-year-old Oklahoma boy had an arm ripped off by a pit bull while trying to pet puppies at his grandparents’ family home. The boy reportedly lost his right arm after putting his hand inside a dog pen Friday night while being looked after by his dad’s parents. Investigators are trying to determine whether the boy was supervised at the time of the attack. If not, his grandparents could face child neglect charges.
