Cedar Rapids, IOWA – According to the Cedar Rapids Police Department, his name is Tyson Hale Jr. and he was taken into custody on Wednesday. Police said the 19-year-old man now faces several charges including attempted murder. The shooting occurred on Dec. 2. It happened at 812 6th Street Southwest. Cedar Rapids Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. Officials said the victim suffered a gunshot wound and arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle.
