Authorities said the 35-year-old suspect faces two felony charges of second-degree criminal mischief. This incident occurred right before 1 a.m. early Sunday morning. Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire. The responding crews discovered that the roof was on fire near the chimney. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. Melcher, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. It happened on 80th Avenue.
