According to the police officials, the 36-year-old mother was arrested and charged after she tried to run down a group of middle school students with her minivan last week. The mom reportedly told investigators that she was upset because her son was the victim of bullying. During an interview, the suspect reportedly admitted that she had been intentionally targeting the student who threw her to the ground. “I’m not gonna lie, I did try to hit him a little bit with my car” she reportedly said.

The 36-year-old mother from Nevada, Jaquitta Madison, was arrested on Friday. She is now charged with four felony counts of battery with a deadly weapon, according to reports.

This unfortunate incident occurred right after 2 p.m. Friday in the parking lot next to Silvestri Junior High School. Investigators said the 36-year-old mother reportedly confronted the mother of another student at who had allegedly been bullying Madison’s son. The situation quickly escalated and Madison got into a physical altercation with one of the students.

According to reports, cell phone video captured by bystander shows how the 36-year-old mother appears to throw at least one punch before the student throws her to the ground and hits her several times.

The mother then got into her vehicle and reverse the car quickly into the group of students, including the student she had just fought. The same student then approached the driver’s side window and punch her again. The 36-year-old mother again drove in reverse at a high speed without regard for the safety of the students.

According to reports, the student who fought the mother told authorities that he was only trying to break up the fight between Madison and the other student’s mother when Madison allegedly punched him in the face. He reportedly claimed he was just him defending himself.

Another witness told authorities that when the 36-year-old suspect retreated to her car she pulled out a handgun, but she reportedly hesitated and put it away after several students shouted, “she’s got a gun.”

During an interview, the suspect reportedly admitted that she had been intentionally targeting the student who threw her to the ground. “I’m not gonna lie, I did try to, like, hit him a little bit with my car” she reportedly said.

“The saddest part was her son was in the front seat, saying, ‘Go mom! Go get him! My mom’s going to run you over you better move.‘ She was literally doing doughnuts trying to hit these kids.” witness Duda said.

Authorities said that no one was seriously injured in this incident. This incident remains under investigation. The mother is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 11. This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information become available.
