Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, his name is Jacob Nathaniel Forward and he was booked into the Scott County Jail on charges of willful injury causing serious injury and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
This unfortunate incident occurred right after 12 a.m. early Thursday morning.
It happened at a home on Appomattox Road.
Authorities say the 32-year-old suspect stabbed the victim 5 times in the back.
The victim had severe blood loss and a collapsed lung, police say.
During an interview with investigators, the 32-year-old suspect allegedly admitted to stabbing the man.
Forward is being held on $12,000 bond and has a preliminary hearing Nov. 5.
