Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Jatavius Daishawn Davis and he is charged with one count each of possession with the intent to deliver not more than 5 grams of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to deliver no more than 40 grams of cocaine base.
Police say the 22-year-old suspect is also wanted on a charge of possession with the intent to deliver crack cocaine from an investigation Oct. 1, 2020.
Davis was arrested right after 1 a.m. Sunday. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call on the Talbot Memorial Bridge.
When the officers arrived on scene, they spotted a Dodge Durango fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.
The suspect’s vehicle stopped behind a building and 3 suspects fled on foot.
Davis was arrested. Officers found 5.40 grams of crack cocaine and 2.5 grams of methamphetamine.
The suspect is being held in the Scott County Jail.
