Shooting on Emerald Drive sends 26-year-old man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at 2130 Emerald Drive.

Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired with one person injured by gunfire.

The responding officers found one adult male victim.

Police said the 26-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

No other injuries were reported.

Investigators believe this incident is related to a domestic dispute.
