IOWA – The Iowa Department of Public Health made the announcement that those 64-years-old with medical conditions with increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 could start to sign up for the vaccine.
Multiple counties expressed their concerns over the expansion and an eight-minute warning from the state before the announcement was made.
Around 12 of 99 counties were done vaccinating their population 65 and over.
Johnson County is not one of those counties beginning to vaccinate the next group.
