Davenport, IOWA – According to the health officials, the deaths were reported to the state between Oct. 21 and Feb. 2.
The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 11,557 new COVID-19 cases in the last seven days, down from 13,744 on Monday.
The state’s 14-day positivity rate dropped from 17% to 15.9%.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus in the state dropped from 638 to 617.
There have been 4,871,302 vaccine doses administered in Iowa, with 71.5% of those 18 and older fully vaccinated.
The The Iowa Department of Public Health said that 76.1% of those 12 and older have had at least one dose.
