The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 97 of Iowa’s 99 counties have declined or partially declined COVID-19 vaccine allocations for the week of May 10

Davenport, IA – According to the statement, the Department of Public Health received 68,950 vaccines for the week.

The officials have reported that only Monona and Emmet counties ordered full vaccine allocations.

Fifty-seven counties ordered no vaccines, while 40 counties made partial orders.

The state of Iowa ordered 19,870 based on the response to county allocations.

Counties that partially or completely declined vaccine allocations reported vaccine availability within the county.
