A Pleasant Valley man has been charged in a deadly boat crash in LeClaire that killed two people

IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is James Thiel and he is now facing charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless use of a watercraft, and other charges.

The incident occurred on August 16, 2020 on the Mississippi River that killed Anita Pinc and Craig Verbeke.

The 44-year-old man turned himself in Tuesday morning.
