IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 3 p.m. Saturday. It happened on Hubbell Avenue at E. 44th Street in Des Moines A northbound vehicle on Hubbell Avenue swerved into the southbound lane and collided with a southbound vehicle. That vehicle was then rear-ended by another vehicle. Police say three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. This incident is under investigation. West Liberty, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 1:25 p.m. Saturday. It happened at the railroad crossing on N Columbus Street in West Liberty. Authorities say 3 people were inside the vehicle when the accident happened. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other two victims were taken to a local hospital. According to the court documents, a 30-year-old foster father has been indicted for killing his 4-year-old foster son. Officials say that he already faced a count of aggravated child abuse, but the indictment on Thursday upgraded his second-degree murder charge to first-degree murder for the death of his 4-year-old foster son on April 21, from what investigators described as blunt force trauma. The mother confessed to killing her two children after their bodies were found in an apartment complex on Tuesday. Police say the mother fled the scene after the killings. Her name is Jamerria Hall, and she is the mother of Da’Neira Thomas, 6, and Davin Thomas Jr., 8, whose decomposing bodies were found in their apartment Tuesday afternoon. This order was signed by Chief Justice Susan Christensen. Chief Justice Susan Christensen said: “This requirement applies statewide and does not depend on a particular county’s or area’s positivity rate or transmission status.” This order contradicts Gov. Reynolds’ long-term policy against mask mandates. In May, she signed a law that bans cities, counties and school districts from requiring masks. Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, her name is Taylor Rae Moss and she pleaded guilty in June to two counts of child endangerment resulting in bodily injury and one count of neglect of a dependent person.
