IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Jason M. Rottman and he was arrested in October for trying to convince two children who were playing outside in Rock Island to get into his car. The parents of the victims said that the children were playing in the front yard of their house when the suspect pulled up across the street and tried to lure the children into his vehicle. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Terry Curry and he also faces a possession of a controlled-substance charge. Police say the 45-year-old man used a screwdriver to start the truck. Officers stopped the suspect around 1:15 a.m. Monday, while he was driving a Dodge pickup truck with incorrect license plates. Davenport Police Department officers found a small plastic bag with less than a gram of methamphetamine in his shorts pocket. He was being held Tuesday in lieu of $1 million cash bail. Police say he shot his ex-wife three times, walked to his car, then calmly returned and fired again, according to court records. IOWA – According to the statement, Hy-Vee offers both the Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Iowa State Fair. Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available to individuals 12 years of age and older. Janssen vaccines are available for individuals 18 years of age and older, and require a single-dose injection. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine requires two doses that should be administered at least 21 days apart. Cedar Rapids – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m. early Friday morning. It happened in the 1400-block of 8th Avenue SE. Cedar Rapids Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. When the officers arrived on scene, they found a GMC Terrain damaged from the gunshots along with shell casings. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Brock Beert and he faces a felony charge of second-degree burglary. This unfortunate incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Thursday. It happened in the 600 block of Independence Drive. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a burglary. According to the police officials, the 30-year-old suspect entered the home and rummaged through the residence locating bins of children’s underwear. Police say a child entered the residence and found him sniffing the dirty underwear. The 30-year-old man was arrested and is being held on $10,000 bond in Scott County Jail.
