DAVENPORT, IOWA – A Davenport man was sentenced to five years in prison Tuesday for being a felon in possession of a firearm. United States District Chief Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Najawaun Marcus Quinn, 23, to five years in prison for felon in possession of a firearm. Following his prison term, Quinn is ordered to serve three years of supervised release, as well as pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. DAVENPORT, IOWA – A local non-profit says it could still use your help to help those who are homeless — or struggling — to keep warm over the winter. Luekinna Hodges from Kinna’s House of Love collected winter clothes and coats, which she handed out this weekend at The Center’s annual Christmas party. Hodges — who herself was homeless — reached out to Local 4 News today and says the need is much greater than she realized after this weekend’s event. DAVENPORT, IOWA – The Davenport Police Department issued a press release Thursday reminding the public of the investigation into the disappearance of Breasia Terrell. The 10-year-old went missing late July 9 or early July 10. “We want the community to know this case remains a priority for our investigators and we continue to aggressively investigate Breasia’s disappearance,” Davenport Police Assistant Chief Jeff Bladel said in the release. “All leads we have received have been thoroughly investigated.” In the release the department said three Davenport police investigators and one supervisor are assigned to the case, along with a pair of agents…

Iowa – In Iowa, 2,002 additional cases were confirmed between 11 a.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday, for a total of 271,022. The statewide death toll increased by 15 to 3,668. In Wisconsin, there were 2,579 new cases Wednesday, pushing the total to 463,594. There were 69 additional related deaths reported, so the state count moved to 4,614. In Illinois, 6,762 new confirmed cases were reported Wednesday, along with 135 additional deaths. That pushed the state’s total to 918,070 cases and 15,547 deaths.

On Monday, the Davenport Police Department, along with Quad-City area law enforcement partners, hosted a press conference to discuss the issue of stolen vehicles in the Quad-Cities and announced a new initiative, Lock It Down, QC, a news release says.
