Davenport, IOWA – The 24-year-old defendant was sentenced to 140 months in federal prison on drug and weapon charges. His name is Aaron Wadden and he was sentenced on Thursday. Prosecutors said the 24-year-old defendant will also serve four years of supervised release once he completes his sentence.  Wadden pleaded guilty in October to gun and drug charges. He was sentenced to prison for trafficking methamphetamine and possessing a firearm related to his drug trafficking. His name is Leonard Fisher Jr. and he is now charged with one count each of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. The charges stem from Jan. 29 incident. Sioux City, IOWA – Sioux City Police Department officials said the shooting occurred on Monday. It happened at the intersection of Riverside Blvd. and W. 19th Street. Sioux City Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. The responding officers reportedly found shell casings and security camera video of the vehicles involved. Everyone involved had fled the area, police said. Investigators believe that an unidentified suspect in a Nissan Versa fired several shots at another unidentified person in Ford Escape. Davenport, IOWA – Police officials said the accident occurred around 1:09 a.m. early Friday morning. It happened on Locust Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers discovered that one of the vehicles crashed following chase with Iowa State Patrol Trooper. According to the Iowa State Patrol officials, Dantawn Cole is the suspect in the crash. Officials said Cole suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. A Massachusetts man was tragically killed in a car accident just weeks before welcoming his child. The heartwrenching incident unfolded on February 9 when the Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a car crash report between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck on the eastbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike a little after 9 a.m.  Officials said that the truck, which was driven by James Lucas, 35, had veered off the road and crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer. Davenport, IOWA – Davenport Fire Department officials said this incident occurred right before 5 p.m. Thursday. It happened in the 3100 Block of West 66th Street. Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire. The responding crews saw smoke coming out of the chimney. Crews discovered that all residents left the home before they arrived on scene. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies and ISP troopers responded to a disturbance call.
