Black Hawk County, IOWA – Authorities said the two-vehicle accident occurred around 8:41 p.m. Saturday. It happened in the 300 block of North Canfield Road. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The responding deputies discovered that Chevrolet Malibu crashed into the rear driver side of the semi-trailer. Moorhead, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Kristofer Erlbacher and he was sentenced to a mandatory life sentence. The 29-year-old defendant was sentenced on Monday after being convicted in December of first-degree murder in the 2020 killing of 30-year-old Caleb Solberg. Prosecutors said the defendant and the victim were reportedly drinking and eating at a bar the night of Dec. 17, 2020. Milford, IOWA – Milford Police Department officials said officers responded to GrapeTree Medical Staffing around 8:21 a.m. Thursday after a female victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Police said the unidentified woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition. 25-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody. His name is Christian Goyne-Yarns and he is being held without bond, court records say. Clinton, IOWA – According to the Clinton Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 5 a.m. Thursday. It happened on S. 18th St. Clinton Fire Department crews responded to a report of a residential structure fire. The responding crews saw light smoke coming from the front door and reportedly met the homeowner out front. They were able to extinguish the blaze in just 10 minutes. His name is Rayontrez Brown and he is now charged with two counts of first-degree theft. The first robbery occurred right before 5 p.m. on Jan. 21. Davenport Police Department officers responded to the Family Credit Union in the 2200 Jersey Ridge Road for a report of a robbery. The responding officers discovered that the suspect reportedly jumped over the teller counter and demanded the teller give him all the money from the drawers. West Des Moines, IOWA – According to the police officials, both suspects, Teta Barley and Kuley Karlar, are now facing felony neglect charges. The 3-year-old child is recovering from second degree burns in a hospital, authorities said. West Des Moines Police Department officials did not give their relationship with the child nor many details about what happened. Both suspects were reportedly caring for the child when he suffered burns on his genital area, butt, thighs and feet. This incident remains under investigation.
