Hiawatha, IOWA – Hiawatha Police Department officials said the armed robbery reportedly occurred right before 8 p.m. Friday. It happened at AT&T retail store located at 1950 Blairs Ferry Road. Hiawatha Police Department officers responded to a report of an armed robbery. The responding officers discovered that two suspects robbed the retail store and a firearm was displayed during the robbery. Both suspects wore face masks and dark clothing, police said. The 49-year-old teacher has been filmed pulling the hair of a 12-year-old female student during an altercation. A video of the incident reportedly shows students screaming for the educator to let go of her 12-year-old victim. Cedar Falls, IOWA – Cedar Falls Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 1:51 a.m. early Sunday morning. It happened near the intersection of College and West 22nd Streets. Cedar Falls Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim. Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Two other men with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital in private vehicles. Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is Julius Mosley Jr. and he was taken into custody late Saturday night. The 18-year-old suspect is now facing multiple charges, including control of a firearm by a felon, interference with official acts and domestic abuse assault. Black Hawk County, IOWA – Authorities said the two-vehicle accident occurred around 8:41 p.m. Saturday. It happened in the 300 block of North Canfield Road. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The responding deputies discovered that Chevrolet Malibu crashed into the rear driver side of the semi-trailer. Deputies said that the Chevrolet Malibu was reportedly driving southbound as the semi tried to back into a private driveway and turn around.  Both the driver and the passenger of the Chevrolet Malibu suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment. Moorhead, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Kristofer Erlbacher and he was sentenced to a mandatory life sentence. The 29-year-old defendant was sentenced on Monday after being convicted in December of first-degree murder in the 2020 killing of 30-year-old Caleb Solberg. Prosecutors said the defendant and the victim were reportedly drinking and eating at a bar the night of Dec. 17, 2020. The defendant then reportedly put mayonnaise on the victim’s food, leading to a fistfight. The defendant left the bar and later ran the victim down with his truck outside. Milford, IOWA – Milford Police Department officials said officers responded to GrapeTree Medical Staffing around 8:21 a.m. Thursday after a female victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Police said the unidentified woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition. 25-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody. His name is Christian Goyne-Yarns and he is being held without bond, court records say.
