Clinton, IOWA – According to the Clinton Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 5 a.m. Thursday. It happened on S. 18th St. Clinton Fire Department crews responded to a report of a residential structure fire. The responding crews saw light smoke coming from the front door and reportedly met the homeowner out front. They were able to extinguish the blaze in just 10 minutes. Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the 25-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday. His name is Rayontrez Brown and he is now charged with two counts of first-degree theft. The first robbery occurred right before 5 p.m. on Jan. 21. Davenport Police Department officers responded to the Family Credit Union in the 2200 Jersey Ridge Road for a report of a robbery. The responding officers discovered that the suspect reportedly jumped over the teller counter and demanded the teller give him all the money from the drawers. West Des Moines, IOWA – According to the police officials, both suspects, Teta Barley and Kuley Karlar, are now facing felony neglect charges. The 3-year-old child is recovering from second degree burns in a hospital, authorities said. West Des Moines Police Department officials did not give their relationship with the child nor many details about what happened. Both suspects were reportedly caring for the child when he suffered burns on his genital area, butt, thighs and feet. This incident remains under investigation. The 36-year-old man reportedly entered an intensive care unit for newborns at a local hospital and pretended to be the newborn child’s father. He then proceeded to bottle feed the infant before eventually leaving. Cedar Falls Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a house fire. The responding crews saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the house.
