Cedar Falls, IOWA – According to the Cedar Falls Fire Rescue, this unfortunate incident occurred around 7:41 p.m. Wednesday. It happened on Spruce Hills Drive. Cedar Falls Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a house fire. The responding crews saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the house. They were able to enter the house and quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, CFFR officials said. The house sustained significant smoke and fire damage. Marshalltown, IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is Dominick Laurie and he was taken into custody on Tuesday. The 22-year-old suspect is now facing multiple charges: attempted murder, intimidation with a dangerous weapon and other charges. This incident occurred around 9:11 p.m. Tuesday night. According to reports, the 29-year-old mother of five reportedly fell of a party bus and died while celebrating her 30th birthday. The mom was reportedly dancing on a party bus at about 3 a.m. Saturday when she fell and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The mother from California, Heather Garcia,who has five kids between the ages of 1 and 10, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Allamakee County, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 3 p.m. Monday. It happened on Highway 9.
