Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday. It happened in the 800 block of W 17th Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim. Police said the victim suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said. Hampton, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Spencer Bultman and he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The 27-year-old defendant was sentenced on Tuesday. Prosecutors said the defendant pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide while driving under the influence and one count of serious injury by vehicle. Butlman was reportedly drunk and driving his pickup the wrong way in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 20 when he crashed into another vehicle. The fatal crash killed 2 adults and 10-year-old boy. A jury has ordered a famous country-themed restaurant chain to pay a man $4.3 million for serving him a glass filled with a chemical cleaning agent instead of water. The victim is still suffering from symptoms, including injuries to his mouth and esophagus, which have incurred and will continue to incur medical expenses. His attorney accused the restaurant of abusing the court system by denying that its employees did anything wrong. Bettendorf, IOWA – According to the Bettendorf Police Department, his name is Eric Willemarck and he was arrested on Sunday. The 42-year-old man is now charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree theft after he reportedly attempted to to steal angle grinder from the Home Depot and pulled a knife on the store employee. This incident occurred right before 8 p.m. Sunday. It happened at Home Depot located at 920 Middle Road.
