According to reports, a 4-year-old Oklahoma boy had an arm ripped off by a pit bull while trying to pet puppies at his grandparents’ family home. The boy reportedly lost his right arm after putting his hand inside a dog pen Friday night while being looked after by his dad’s parents. Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. It happened in the 1300 block of South Nevada Avenue. Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire. The responding crews saw heavy smoke coming from the structure. They were able to extinguish the fire in just 10 minutes. No one was injured in this incident. Davenport Fire Department officials said the home suffered heavy smoke damage. The cause of fire remains under investigation.
