According to the court documents, a 26-year-old woman shot and killed a woman who tried to help her through the cold weather last February. Prosecutors say she’s going to prison for the next 20 years. The 26-year-old woman pleaded guilty on Friday to second-degree murder in the Feb. 18 death of a 33-year-old woman. Prosecutors say the victim was shot on Feb. 15 and died three days later at a hospital in Missouri. A 6-year-old girl died on a thrill ride at amusement park on Sunday night, according to tragic reports. The park said in a statement on its website: “We are deeply saddened and ask that you please keep the family of the deceased in your thoughts and prayers. Allamakee County, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. Sunday. It happened on County Road X-26 south of Rossville. Authorities say a 75-year-old man was driving his motorcycle when a kayak that flew off a trailer hit him. His name is John Thein and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is DeMarco Darrelle Gray Jr. and he was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. The 27-year-old suspect was booked on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a felon. The shooting occurred around 12:45 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of North Nevada Avenue and Lombard Street. The responding officers found a 25-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds. IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 4 p.m. Aug. 1, 2020. The 23-month-old boy was rushed to a hospital, but was later pronounced dead.  Authorities in Hampton say that autopsy confirmed the boy’s death was the result of the blunt force injures. The manner of death was ruled a homicide. The boy’s caretaker, Jhonny Junior Salvatore Suarez Rivera, has been identified as the suspect in this case. A 29-year-old mother on Friday was indicted on murder charges after her 3-year-old daughter died from a fentanyl overdose. Prosecutors say this was not the first time the child had ingested drugs while in the care of her mother. This unfortunate incident occurred on June 4, when the 29-year-old mother, Hillary Goding, called 911. The first responders found her daughter, Hailey Goding, unresponsive. They transported her to hospital, where she died two days later.
