Waterloo, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Adnan Alibegic and he was sentenced to 110 months in prison on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors said the 28-year-old defendant will have to serve three years of supervised release following his prison time. Alibegic pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a felon on June 22. According to the court documents, the 28-year-old man was found passed out in his vehicle in October 2020. The responding officers found a loaded, stolen gun next to him. Des Moines, IOWA – According to the Des Moines Police Department, his name is Quarian Deonte Moore and he was arrested on Thursday. Police said the 17-year-old suspect is now charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Dean Titus Deng. This unfortunate incident occurred on Nov. 14. Police said the 18-year-old victim was found in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Deng was taken to a hospital where he later died. According to the police officials, the body of an autistic 8-year-old who had been missing since Sunday was found on Tuesday morning. The 27-year-old mother and her 29-year-old partner are now charged with murder, cruelty to children and other charges. Marion, IOWA – According to the Marion Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 11 a.m. Tuesday. It happened in the 2900 block of Indian Creek road. Marion Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. The responding officers made contact with an adult male who had pulled into the Indian Creek Elementary School parking lot.
