As we all know by now, the FDA and CDC recommend a booster dose for Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccine recipients ages 18 and older at least 6 months after their second vaccine dose. They recommend booster dose for Janssen vaccine recipients ages 18 and older at least 2 months after their first vaccine dose. Davenport, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Deontae Lott and he was sentenced to 137 months for conspiracy to distribute heroin and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Investigators found .62 grams of a heroin/fentanyl mixture, 77 grams of heroin/fentanyl mixture, a digital scale and loaded Taurus nine-millimeter gun at his home on Aug. 2020. According to the court documents, the 26-year-old suspect is facing a number of charges after authorities said he tried to run over a 13-year-old girl after he abused and impregnated her. The victim and the suspect got into a verbal altercation that escalated and became physical. During the fight, the suspect used his hands to choke her to the point that she lost consciousness at least three times. Scott County, IOWA – According to the Dixon Police Department, his name is Jonathon Wilson and he was arrested on Wednesday. Authorities said the 38-year-old suspect was located at 1401 West 4th Street. The responding officers found 9 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging in his possession.  The 38-year-old man was taken to the Lee County Jail. Authorities said Wilson is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.     This incident remains under investigation. Maquoketa, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. It happened on Highway 61. Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash. Southbound Ford Fusion tried to turn left onto Hurtsville Road and collided with Dodge Ram that was heading north. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch. The responding troopers found four victims. Unfortunately, two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the 26-year-old suspect was booked into the Scott County Jail on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a felon. This incident occurred right before 11 p.m. Wednesday. It happened in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call. Indianola, IOWA – Indianola Fire Department has reported that this unfortunate incident occurred right after 8 p.m. Wednesday. It happened at 701 West Boston Ave. Indianola Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire. The responding crews found flames coming from windows and doors on the front of the house and were able to quickly extinguish the fire. According to the statement, the responding crews were able to remove the female victim from the home. The male occupant of the residence was already outside.
