Linn County, IOWA – According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 4 p.m. Sunday. It happened west of Fairfax. Linn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. Deputies say the vehicle was traveling southbound when was hit by a Union Pacific train. Both people in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.  This incident remains under investigation. This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information become available.

An evil person put his ex-girlfriend through absolute horror by stuffing her inside a suitcase in the final moments of her life. When the incident took place, the 26-year-old man was working as a short-order cook and cashier at a restaurant. According to the court documents, the 57-year-old woman was arrested and booked September 19. Prosecutors say that she was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted strangulation, and alteration or concealment of evidence. Her bond was set at $1 million. According to the police officials, officers responded to her residence Sunday regarding a domestic disturbance. IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 8 a.m. Thursday. It happened at the intersection of Herder Street at S. 2nd Street in Guttenberg. Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash. Authorities say the school bus was turning onto S. 2nd Street when it struck a 66-year-old woman. Her name is Judy Puls and she was pronounced dead at the scene. No one was hurt on the bus. This incident remains under investigation. Davenport, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Sean Patrick Huffman and prosecutors say he assaulted two sisters in 2014. Huffman was found guilty of second and third-degree sexual abuse. Second-degree sexual abuse is a class B felony with a maximum prison term of 25 years. Third-degree sexual abuse is a class C felony with a maximum prison term of 10 years. Officials say that the victims were 7 and 14 at the time. Davenport, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Ronald Laverne Hawk and he is charged with one count of possession with the intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine. Prosecutors say that the charge is a Class B felony and it carries a prison sentence of 25 years. The 53-year-old man also is charged with violating Iowa’s drug tax stamp law. The defendant’s father allegedly said that his son killed them ‘after he snapped’. The 56-year-old father is charged with four counts of hiding a corpse. The 38-year-old man, Antoine Suggs is charged with four counts of second-degree intentional murder without premeditation for allegedly killing Matthew Isiah Pettus, Jasmine Christine Sturm, Loyace Foreman III, and Nitotsha Lee Flug-Presley.
