IOWA – According to the police officials, his name is Eugene Baily III. The suspect is scheduled to appear in Scott County Court on Aug. 12. About the incident – This unfortunate incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. May 7 in the 2700 block of Magnolia Drive, Bettendorf. Eugene Baily III fired shots, holding a pistol in his right hand and a bottle of alcohol in his left hand. The suspect fired all the shots toward a townhouse complex occupied by multiple residents. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Kiyon Jackson and he is from Davenport. This unfortunate incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. Friday evening. The 32-year-old suspect was fatally shot at a home in Louisiana on June 30. Witnesses alleged that he, who was in possession of a handgun, came across a woman outside her property the night of the shooting. A physical struggle ensued, which carried into the woman’s home. The woman’s son drew a hunting rifle and opened fire on the suspect, defending his mother, authorities said. Emergency responders, who arrived on-scene shortly after, attempted life-saving measures. The Centers for Disease Control updated its childhood mask guidance on Friday in a release that has many parents incensed.
