The crash occurred between a motorcycle and another vehicle. The driver of the bike was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. According to the court documents, the 59-year-old woman was convicted of murder for the attack of her 81-year-old husband, at their shared home. Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, her name is Michelle R. Fix and she allegedly hit Alfonso Reid Jr. with her car on May 1. The hit-and-run incident lead to his death on May 8.  The 53-year-old woman turned herself in to Scott County authorities on May 28. Fix is charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing death, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison. The woman is also charged with failing to provide proof of liability insurance and speeding.
