Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Deshawn Lamont Davis and he was booked into the Scott County Jail on one count of first-degree robbery. This is a Class B felony punishable by 25 years in prison. About the incident – Officers responded around 2:15 a.m. April 17 at the 100 block of North Elmwood Avenue. When the officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the suspect assaulted the victim, threatened him by displaying a firearm, and took his keys and vehicle. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday night. Authorities say a gunshot victim arrived with non-life-threatening injuries at Genesis East. Davenport Police Department officers responded to Bridge Avenue and Locust Street. According to the court documents, the 59-year-old woman was convicted of murder for the attack of her 81-year-old husband, at their shared home. She filled a garden bucket with the scalding hot water and threw it onto his arms and torso as he slept. She then fled to a neighbor’s house and admitted what she’d just done. “I’ve hurt him really bad,” she cried to her neighbors. “I think I’ve killed him.” When first responders arrived at the scene, they found Baines whimpering in bed. Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, her name is Michelle R. Fix and she allegedly hit Alfonso Reid Jr. with her car on May 1. The hit-and-run incident lead to his death on May 8.  The 53-year-old woman turned herself in to Scott County authorities on May 28. Fix is charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing death, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison. The woman is also charged with failing to provide proof of liability insurance and speeding.

Davenport, IA – According to the statement, Davenport Fire Department crews responded to the 3500 block of Fair Avenue This unfortunate incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. Sunday. When the Davenport Fire Department crews arrived on scene, they found flames and smoke coming from the rear of a single-family home. They were able to quickly put the fire out and say they pulled out ceilings to extinguish a fire in the attice space. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, her name is Jasmin A. Matthews and she allegedly lost control of her car. The 26-year-old woman was traveling east on River Drive on Sept. 7. Matthews crossed the yellow line and hit a truck near Forest Road. The adult passenger of the truck died at the scene and two children were seriously injured. Vehicular homicide is a class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
