Dubuque County, Iowa – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 4 p.m. Wednesday. It happened in the 5100 block of Park Place in Asbury. Dubuque County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. When the officers arrived on scene, they found two victims. Deputies say one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the victim was later pronounced dead. The other driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information become available.

According to the court documents, the 19-year-old man testified on Tuesday that ‘he never meant to kill his ex-girlfriend’. But, prosecutors say that the texts he sent to his mother showed that he previously made violent threats toward the victim. “I’m really going to kill her,” the defendant texted his mother about victim. He had seen a picture of his ex on social media with her new boyfriend. “I’m gonna stab her in the neck 57 times.” On July 27, 2020, the defendant, Gilbert Newton III, asked the victim, Morgan Darlyn McCaffery, to come to his local train station to talk one more time…

According to the police officials, the 41-year-old suspect was arrested on Monday. Police say he was arrested for his alleged role in killing three people whose bodies were found in a dumpster that had been set on fire. The man was taken into custody on a charge of capital murder of multiple victims. He allegedly admitted his involvement in the death of the three individuals. His name is Jason Alan Thornburg and he allegedly admitted to killing two other people on two separate occasions in addition to the three victims found in the dumpster in Texas. According to the police officials, the 6-year-old girl who died on a ride at an amusement park earlier this month was not strapped into the ride correctly, a report into the incident has revealed. The report concludes that the ride’s operators did not properly prepare the ride before allowing passengers to board. The seat belts had apparently been buckled during a previous ride when the seat was empty and were not unbuckled after that ride returned to the station. Cedar Rapids, IOWA – According to the Cedar Rapids Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 12 p.m. Tuesday. It happened at the intersection of Third Avenue and 10th Street Southeast. The bicyclist was riding east on Third Avenue SE when they were struck by a vehicle. Police say the bicyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. Black Hawk County, IOWA – According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate incident occurred Tuesday morning. It happened on Highway 58 north of Hudson. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The Cedar Falls Police Department, Iowa Department of Transportation and MercyOne Ambulance also assisted at the scene. They say pickup heading south collided with a semi heading north. The pickup then caught fire. Unfortunately, the driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Paul Hoff and he pleaded guilty Tuesday. The defendant pleaded guilty to obstructing prosecution for his role in the death of Chris Bagley. He faces up to two years in prison when he’s sentenced. According to the court documents, a felony charge of a abuse of a corpse was dropped in exchange for his testimony against Drew Blahnik. The defendant said he witnessed Blahnik stab the victim repeatedly in the neck. Drew Blahnik was found guilty earlier this year of second-degree murder and other counts in Bagley’s death and is…

According to the police officials, the 37-year-old suspect was arrested Saturday after he allegedly told his mother that he had just killed his girlfriend. The suspect’s mother called 911 Saturday evening when her son allegedly admitted to murdering his girlfriend. The responding deputies conducted a well-being check at the residence  the suspect shared with his girlfriend on U.S. 98 North. When the deputies arrived on scene, the suspect, Jason Robinson, reportedly gave them a fake name and birthday. Deputies, however, had reportedly looked at a photo of him before the welfare check.
