Davenport, IA – According to the Davenport Police Department, his name is Darron Mayo and he faces charges of controlled-substance violation, failure to affix a drug stamp and control of a firearm by a felon. Law enforcement authorities served a search warrant in an apartment on the 3500 block of Heatherton Drive right after 5 a.m. Wednesday. Dubuque County, Iowa – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 4 p.m. Wednesday. It happened in the 5100 block of Park Place in Asbury. Dubuque County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. When the officers arrived on scene, they found two victims. Deputies say one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the victim was later pronounced dead. According to the police officials, the 6-year-old girl who died on a ride at an amusement park earlier this month was not strapped into the ride correctly, a report into the incident has revealed. The report concludes that the ride’s operators did not properly prepare the ride before allowing passengers to board.
