An Ohio mother files for insanity plea after dragging her 6-year-old son to death behind her moving car, then dumping his body in the Ohio River. According to the police officials, the shooting happened Sunday afternoon at McDonald’s drive-thru in Chicago. When the responding officers arrived on scene, they found the 7-year-old girl clinging to life. She was placed in a patrol car and rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her father also sustained gunshot wounds in the shooting. He was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Police say he will likely recover from the shooting. IOWA – According to the police officials, Tykeese McCray completed application paperwork for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program fraudulently. McCray did so on the initial application and the annual recertification forms. The 44-year-old woman also reportedly falsified forms for food assistance benefits, child care assistance and medical insurance through Medicaid. She did not list her husband as a household member, and she did not include his income on forms that would determine her eligibility. She received $118,943.19 in assistance. McCray was ordered to serve three months in prison and to pay restitution in the amount of $118,943.19.

IOWA – According to the statement, officers responded to the area around 9:40 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired. When the officers arrived on scene, they found a 26-year-old man behind a parked vehicle in a driveway with several gunshot wounds. The first responders administered emergency care to the man, but he died at the scene. This incident is under investigation. This story will be updated when new information is available.
